I’m Felicity (pictured here with Bruno) — a warm, cheeky, no‑stone‑unturned menopause educator, mentor and menovist who believes people deserve clarity, compassion, and a good laugh while navigating one of the biggest transitions of their lives.

For decades I worked in roles where I had to be polished, private, and professional. I loved the work and the people, but parts of me stayed tucked away — my humour, my creativity, my stories, my full humanity. I was the woman who held everything together, but rarely let myself be fully seen.

Then my own menopause journey cracked everything open.

It started quietly and then became cymbals and drums banging out of time  — physically, emotionally, mentally, spiritually. I didn’t just paddle in my river of change; I was pushed into the middle of a fast running river, transitioning from perimenopause straight into surgical menopause with very little support. And while medicine and therapies offered some relief, they didn’t cover the full terrain of this wild, wondrous transformational journey.

Symptoms that made no sense.

Poo stories that became metaphors.

A whole lot of “why did no one tell me this?” moments.

My body became my greatest teacher, and I realised how much information was missing, how much shame was in the silence, and how many people are walking through this alone.

So I did what I do best: I got curious, strategic and unapologetically empowered. I became a detective. I focused on wellbeing during menopause in my Master of Applied Positive Psychology. I researched. I asked questions. I translated the complex into the clear. I leaned into my ever-growing toolkit. I told the truth — even the messy bits.

What began as personal survival became a calling.

Now? I lead menopause education and sharing sessions within workplaces, speak on panels, and create spaces where people going through menopause feel safe, seen, informed, supported and lighter.

People tell me I’m the Mary Poppins of menopause — I show up with a carpet bag full of knowledge, a spoonful of sugar, and zero shame.

This is done with clarity, compassion, and a touch of cheeky magic.

I break stigma.

I share evidence-based wisdom.

I create spaces for real talk, belly laughs, and deep healing.

With warmth. With humour. With honesty. With humanity.

Because this isn’t just a phase—it’s a rite of passage.

A reclamation. A revolution.
